Olympus announced the commercial launch of the POWERSEAL Open Extended Jaw Sealer/Divider in the U.S. and Canada for use across colorectal, gynecological, thoracic, urological, and vascular surgeries. The bipolar surgical device is designed for one-handed operation, vessel sealing up to 7 mm, and improved access in tight surgical spaces. Kardium receives up to $31.25 million from Canada to expand Globe Pulsed Field System manufacturing
Kardium announced that the Government of Canada will provide up to $31.25 million toward a $125 million project to expand manufacturing of its Globe Pulsed Field System in British Columbia. The investment will support expansion of Kardium’s Vancouver cleanroom facility, enabling the company to scale production of the cardiac mapping and ablation system for atrial fibrillation while retaining high-value jobs, expertise, and intellectual property in Canada.
