Felix Expands into Sleep Apnea Care Across Canada

  • Felix has launched sleep apnea care in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta through a collaboration with MedSleep, helping patients access assessment and appropriate treatment. Expansion into other provinces is planned for fall 2026.
  • Felix providers can connect eligible patients with sleep clinics for assessment, sleep-study consultation or treatment reviews. Sleep clinics remain responsible for diagnosing and managing sleep apnea.
  • The offering also enables eligible patients to explore medically supervised treatment options, including medical weight management. Felix notes that treatment should be individualized and CPAP remains effective for many patients.
  • More than one in four Canadian adults are estimated to be at high risk for obstructive sleep apnea, while only 3% report a professional diagnosis, highlighting persistent gaps in assessment and access.

Takeaways:

Felix’s sleep apnea program, built with MedSleep, creates a virtual front door for one of Canada’s most under‑diagnosed chronic conditions (≈1 in 4 adults at high risk, only ~3% diagnosed), funneling patients into formal assessment while keeping diagnosis and CPAP management with sleep clinics. 1107 By coupling referrals with access to medically supervised weight‑management and other adjunct therapies, Felix can capture a larger share of the OSA care journey, improve treatment adherence, and position itself as a hub for integrated metabolic‑sleep care ahead of its fall expansion to more provinces.
