Blair Health Raises CAD $4.24M to Scale Specialist-Level Care

  • Blair Health raised CAD $4.24M in pre-seed funding, bringing total capital to CAD $4.5M, co-led by BDC’s Thrive Venture Fund, Accelia Capital and Ogaei, with participation from OCI’s LSIF and angel investors.
  • The company will use the funding to accelerate product development, clinical operations and provider-network growth, while expanding its commercial presence across Canada and the U.S.
  • Blair’s platform encodes specialist-designed clinical pathways into software, enabling generalist providers to deliver specialist-level care. Its menopause pathway reports 98.7% clinical accuracy, with newer verticals spanning urology, pelvic health, nutrition and weight management.
  • Since its May 2025 launch, Blair has grown to 2,300+ Canadian users, while employer contracts now account for roughly half of its revenue. The company plans to further scale its employer and public-sector healthcare channels.

Takeaways:

Blair Health’s CAD $4.24M pre‑seed raise (total CAD $4.5M) gives it the capital to scale a “virtual specialist” model that encodes specialist‑designed pathways into software so generalist providers can deliver more consistent, guideline‑based care in high‑need areas like menopause, urology, pelvic health and weight management. With 2,300+ Canadian users since May 2025 and employer contracts already representing about half of revenue, the funding supports deeper penetration of employer and public‑sector channels in Canada and the U.S., positioning Blair to compete with other virtual‑care and women’s‑health platforms by emphasizing clinical accuracy (98.7% reported for its menopause pathway) and system capacity relief rather than direct‑to‑consumer care alone.
